We corrected these pages once, and the correction was also wrong. Here is every file, opened.
Any GATE year — checked against the GATE 2027 Information Brochure
Our paper pages said “fully solved”. We corrected that to “no answer keys”. Then we opened all fifty files: eighteen of them carry the organising institute's own answer key. Here is the full audit.

Two wrong descriptions, in opposite directions
Since 24 July 2026 all six previous-year paper pages described the papers as “fully solved”, with “detailed answer keys”, “worked explanations” or “clear explanations” — twelve statements in all. On 15 September 2026 we opened a sample of the files, found question papers, and rewrote every page to say “question papers only, no answer keys or solutions”. On 18 September we went back and opened all fifty files rather than a sample. The second description was wrong too: eighteen of the fifty carry the organising institute's own answer key, appended after the last question.
How the first correction went wrong
We sampled. The files opened on 15 September were mostly 2026 papers, which genuinely carry no key, and the two older files in that sample were read for the phrases “answer key” and “solution” rather than for the key table itself. The official key is not labelled with either phrase — it is a bare table headed “Q.No. Type Section Key/Range Marks”. Searching for the words we expected, in a sample chosen for convenience, produced a confident answer that was wrong in the other direction.

Source: Every file IAE Academy hosts, downloaded from the Drive ids published on each resource page and parsed with PyMuPDF on 18 September 2026. A file is counted as carrying the key when its text contains a complete 65-row table of question number, question type, section and accepted answer. Eight files are scans rather than digital text, so their contents cannot be searched either way; they are listed as not machine-readable rather than counted in either column.
What the official key is, and is not
It is the organising institute's own answer key, published with the paper: for every one of the 65 questions it gives the question type, the section, and either the correct option or the accepted numerical range. It is more authoritative than any coaching solution, because it is the document the marking was done against. It is also not a solution. There are no worked steps, no reasoning and no explanation in any of these files — only the accepted answer.
Why we are publishing the mistake twice
A correction that nobody can read only protects the people who made it. This is the second correction to the same claim, and the second one exists because the first was made from a sample. Both are in our public corrections ledger, with the document that settled each. We would rather show the working than quietly restate the number.
What we are not claiming
- That the papers are solved anywhere on this site — they are not, and the official key is not a solution.
- That every year carries a key. Thirty-two of the fifty files carry questions only, and eight more are scans we cannot read either way.
- That the question papers are ours. They are the organising institutes' papers, hosted so that the years sit in one place.
