Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how course fees are handled at IAE Academy. Please read it carefully before purchasing any programme, as every enrolment is made on the understanding set out below.

This policy applies to all GATE coaching, IT training, and career counselling programmes purchased directly through our website or at our Kolkata centre.

Once an enrolment is confirmed and payment has been received, all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This includes fees for GATE coaching programmes, IT training courses, one-on-one mentorship or counselling sessions, and any study materials provided as part of a programme.

We do not offer partial refunds, pro-rated refunds, or credit for the unused portion of a programme, whether or not you attend classes or access the course content after enrolling.

Because fees are non-refundable, we strongly encourage you to make sure a programme is right for you before you pay. To help you decide, we offer the following at no cost:

• A free, no-obligation consultation with a mentor to assess fit, finances, and your goals.
• Free resources and sample material, so you can experience our teaching style first-hand.
• The chance to ask us anything over WhatsApp or phone before enrolling — we are happy to talk through the syllabus, schedule, mode, and fees.

If you have any doubt at all, please speak to us first. We would much rather answer your questions than have you enrol before you are ready.

A non-refundable policy does not cover genuine payment errors. If you were charged more than once for the same enrolment, charged an incorrect amount, or charged but not enrolled due to a technical issue, this is treated as a billing error — not a refund — and we will put it right.

Please report any such error within 7 days of the transaction, along with your payment reference, and we will verify and reverse the erroneous amount to your original payment method.

If you enrol using an EMI or instalment plan, you remain responsible for the full programme fee. Choosing to stop attending does not cancel your remaining instalments, and instalments already paid are non-refundable, in line with this policy.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your enrolment governs that purchase.
